Carly and I met while collaborating on a summer wedding in Aspen, Colorado. She brought her talents as an amazing florist from Texas, and it was so fun to collaborate.
During her stay, we planned a maternity family photo session. Carly wanted her photos to be reflective of her time here in Colorado and the great changes on the way as she prepares to welcome her new baby.
We balanced the soft summer light with the grand peaks of the mountains, picking up nature’s amazing hues and tones as a radiant backdrop. The soft, grayish blue of her dress was a perfect late summer color against nature’s yellows and greens, and the afternoon shadows fell in all the right places to give the images a soft, glowing polish.
