Family heirlooms, moving water, and the mountain backdrops they call home. Nicky and Rebecca’s Aspen wedding at Dunbar Ranch was a celebration ten-plus years in the making. It was remarkable to see them share so many pieces of their story with the people they love most. It was an honor to be their Aspen wedding photographer; congratulations to you both!
I had so much fun serving as the second shooter for my friend Christina McNeill at Jenna and Dave’s magical wedding in Northern California. Jenna and Dave chose to celebrate with a cozy weekend at the historic Timber Cove Resort, where they created such a special and intimate oasis for all of their guests. From […]
There’s a famous Buddhist saying that goes, “If you are facing in the right direction, all you need to do is keep on walking.” That quote couldn’t have been more true for Kara and Jack, whose chance encounter in college eventually led them to the celebration of a lifetime at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. […]
After exchanging vows during a small, intimate ceremony in 2020, Caitlin and Patrick knew they wanted to bring their Texas roots to Colorado in the biggest way possible. Luckily, their original Denver wedding date was still available one year later! Beautifully blending their past and present, they took a moment to restate their vows in […]
Planning their intimate wedding this year at The Little Nell; Andrea and Davidson spent the afternoon exploring the Aspen, Colorado on bikes, I can’t wait to photograph their celebration!
Did you know that a grove of Aspen trees is the largest living organism on earth? While each tree appears to stand alone, they all share the same system of roots underground. Ellory and Connor exchanged vows in one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Steamboat Springs, Colorado — beneath the whispering branches of […]
Ash and Chloe’s destination wedding in Vail was not only steeped in the most gorgeous fall mountain light, but it was full of beautiful traditions, too. Their wedding venue, Vail Chapel, held special significance for their families: it was the same church where their grandparents had been married many moons ago. The couple chose to meet for a first look on top of the mountain, where they took a moment for themselves and exchanged their first set of vows. They then rode down the gondola together for an intimate ceremony at the base and a family dinner at the Lerona. It was the perfect end to their own Vail wedding day!
One of the things I love most about being a Colorado wedding photographer is that no two days are the same. Whether it’s someone’s something old, something blue, or that magical mountain color that appears just so, every couple has a special moment that makes their celebration entirely unique. Ash and Chloe found a way to both honor their family history and start new traditions of their own, and it was such a joy to serve as their wedding photographer!
David Byrne must have been referring to Telluride when he sang the iconic song, “This Must Be the Place.” When Zoe and Kevin told me they wanted to exchange vows in this magical little mountain town, I was in before they even finished the sentence. They chose this special destination after a year of challenging […]
What a whirlwind of a wedding at Devil’s Thumb Ranch and spa. I loved photographing Katie and Matt’s summer mountain wedding in Tabernash, Colorado, with the lovely Laura.
