Emily and Samuel met at Trinity college in Connecticut and instantly knew they would be together forever. The bride and groom each come from tight-knit families and share a love honoring tradition, two key things that serve as their relationship cornerstone.
Their wedding day was a breathtaking experience of classic 20s style complete with vintage touches and cream colors, highlighted by silver and gold tones. A truly timeless look and feel.
With the help of family and Isabelle Kline Designs, they hosted their fairytale wedding in Denver, Colorado at the Cherry Hills County Club. Delicate David Austin roses and lush greenery covered the long elegant tables adorned in white and featuring candelabras with tapered gold candles. The ivory coloring featured throughout the celebration brought a fresh feeling of new beginnings, a perfect symbol of their new life together.
The bride wore a classic off the shoulder wedding dress with a chiffon train designed by Alinva Valenta and coupled with a simple, sheer veil and a lovely bow at the small of the back. The groom went for a more timeless style as well, donning an off-white suit jacket paired with black tuxedo pants. Bridesmaids carried the cream colored theme even further, each with their own unique expression for the day.
Bouquets featured a simple white bed of roses surrounded in bursts of bright green, a perfect compliment to fresh mountain air and deep lush greens of summer.
Emily danced the night away under the twinkle lights with Sam to the Suga Bear Showtime Band, surrounded by best friends and loving family in the “heart” of Denver. It was exactly what they envisioned for their special day in every way. To top it off, the couple had an amazing send-off, complimented by sparklers and a 1940’s classic car complete with “Just Married” window dressing, and drove towards the next chapter of their life together.
The beautiful energy I experienced at their celebration was a lovely reminder that a wedding is more than a day. It’s a day that represents what you treasure most while creating a deeply rooted union between bride and groom, their love, and personal values to create a new way of life together. When the paths of two individual people become one, all the people they know and love come along too, bringing everyone together into a deep, true community connected forever. Friends, family and extended family all came together to support Emily and Sam’s day, and this is what turned their wedding day into a treasured memory and heartfelt gift for every single person who attended.
Love, at first sight, is such a powerful force and a timeless story that always inspires the couple and the people in their lives. Congrats on this new chapter of your life together Emily and Samuel, and may the love you’ve found grow exponentially with time. See the full feature at Snippet and Ink here!
